Hong Kong Style Macaroni Soup

Recipe:

Ingredients: 

1 cup elbow pasta

3 cups no-salt-added chicken broth

additional 1 cup no-salt-added chicken broth

1 tsp light soy sauce

Optional, 1/4 cup frozen corn

2 slices of spam

2 eggs

1/2 tsp sesame oil

Instructions: 

  1. Combine chicken broth and soy sauce in a pot, when it boils, add elbow pasta, keep stirring,
  2. Optional add corn, add sesame oil
  3. Cook pasta until al dente.
  4. Add additional chicken broth
  5. In an oiled pan, fry an egg until the yolk is slightly runny, fry the next egg.
  6. Pan fry slices of spam lightly
  7. Pour cooked pasta and broth into a bowl, top with egg and spam.
