You can save serious money making boba or bubble tea at home. Get some rice paper and get ready for this homemade delicious boba!

Ingredients:

  • 2 sheets of rice paper
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup of milk (use any milk you prefer)

Instructions: 

  1. Dip rice paper into the water, one at a time.
  2. Pro-tip: wait until rice paper becomes flexible, fold bottom first then sides. Important! Smoothing out any air bubbles. Tightly roll it into a cylinder.
  3. Use scissor to cut into 1/2 inch pieces.
  4. Add brown sugar and water to a pan. Bring it to a boil and reduce the heat to medium and cook for 3-5 min or until the syrup thickens to the consistency of maple syrup.
  5. Add rice paper boba and cook until thickens
  6. To make the boba drink, add the syrup (includes rice paper boba), rotate glass to coat. Then, add ice and milk. Optional, add tea. Enjoy
